1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Lokutor's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Lokutor provides voice AI infrastructure: text-to-speech, speech-to-text, noise cancellation, turn-taking, and voice agents that can place and receive telephone calls on your behalf.

2A. Voice Agents, Calls and Recording

If you build an agent that speaks with people, you decide who it calls and what it says, and you are responsible for it. In particular you must:

• Comply with telecoms and call-recording law wherever you call, including one-party and all-party consent rules, calling-hours limits and do-not-call registries.
• Disclose that the caller is speaking to an AI system where the law requires it.
• Hold a lawful basis for contacting the people you dial, and honour their opt-outs.

Recording. Call recording is off unless enabled for an agent. When it is on, the agent announces it at the start of the call. On free plans, recording is always on and cannot be disabled, and Lokutor staff may listen to recordings to diagnose faults and improve the service — this is the trade-off for the free tier, and it is disclosed to callers on the call. Any paid plan can disable recording entirely, after which no call audio is written to disk. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after 90 days, or sooner on request.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to process and use it for service provision.

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

Our technology, models, and services are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology.

6. Payment and Billing

6.1 Fees

Some services require payment. Fees are as posted on our website and may change with notice.

6.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due in advance. We may suspend services for non-payment.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of our services.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific performance levels.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement. We may terminate immediately for breach of terms.

12. Governing Law
